Vastint 5 year Event Design (Sarnico, IT), 2019.

I helped Rachel Wyld on the definition of the design for the event for a corporate dinner to celebrate the 5 years of Vastint at Villa Surre, also known as Villa Luigi Faccanoni, in Iseo Lake. The event was planned to consist in various moments: an aperitif at the arrival, a dinner in the main rooms inside, an entertaining show outside in the backyard to then enter the upper level and have the desser buffet before going out to the terrace over the porch to see the fireworks over the lake. There was also a clubbing area on the underground level for the afterparty.

The design consisted on a minimalistic touch to such an already stunning location, avoiding the event design to overtake the place. The game was mainly done by the lighting, preferring a warm tone inside that contrasted with the cold one used for the outdoors spaces. On the tables a simple composition made of concrete, dry branches and candles to mediate the height of the rooms was at the centre of an elegant yet minimal tableware arrangement. Candles were also guiding the guests through the different places for each different moment of the party. The dancing area had a major black wall with a mirroring Vastint logo hung and some plants invading the space, creating an inside/outside.
